1. Regardless of the skater's test level or ability, the rink management and/or Skating Director(s) reserve the right to shift skaters from a freestyle-level session &/or class to other sessions based on that skater's ability to maintain the proper traffic flow of the session.
2.Skating Director(s) maintain the right to determine appropriate membership levels for each skater based on technical ability, speed, strength compared to other skater of the same membership level. If a parent or coach has a question about their skater's appropriate membership level, please email: mtnviewsa@gmail.com
3. All skaters must agree to follow on-ice conduct & rules and the Skater Code of Conduct.
4. All parents/guardians must agree to follow the Parent Code of Conduct.
5. All parents/guardians must agree to sign Minors in & out if the parent/guardian will not stay at the building during a skater's session. Parents/guardians may sign a permission slip for skaters to sign in & out on their own if riding with someone other than their parent/guardian, or if over the age of 16 and will be driving themselves to and from the rink.
6. No Virtual Lessons allowed on MVIA property. This includes On or Off-ice lessons that use MVIA facilities. This ban covers all methods of Electronic communication including Facetime; Phone call to skater's ear buds; Zoom; Live Barn; and all other forms not explicitly stated here. Violation of this policy can result in loss of skating privileges from MVIA up to and including being banned from the premises. Violation of this policy by Non MVIA Staff coaches may result in an Ethic's Complaint filed with US Figure Skating.
7. No guest coaching is allowed unless approved by MVSA skating directors; being an MVSA member does not entitle you to bring in outside coaches.
