Codes of Conduct & SafeSkate Policy

U.S. Figure Skating's SafeSkate Policy

The Mountain View Ice Arena, including the Mountain View Skating Academy, follows the key principles of U.S. Figure Skating’s SkateSafe Program and U.S. Figure Skating’s commitment to athlete safety.  The MVIA's and the MVSA's programs (including Learn-to-Skate, Learn-to-Play, Learn-to-Compete, the MVSA Jr and Sr Academy) follow these principles. Participants, parents/spectators, and coaches skating on the MVIA ice and watching from the lobby/stands must follow the codes of conduct provided below as well as all SafeSkate policies.

All forms of misconduct are unacceptable and in direct conflict with U.S. Figure Skating rules. The MVIA reserves the right to withdraw skaters, parents, coaches and spectators from all of its programs and events due to lack of compliance of these core policies and codes of conducts.
