Learn-to-Skate with the MVSA!!

The MVSA's Learn-to-Skate Program is designed for kids and adults of all ages! Whether you are interested in playing hockey, competing in figure skating competitions, or wanting to skate for recreation, the MVSA has a class for you! The MVSA's Learn-to-Skate programming is a significant first step to a life-long enjoyment of ice sports. The program is fun, provides a great source of exercise, and builds confidence. Plus, skaters have the opportunity to participate in group performances (the annual MVSA Holiday and Spring Ice Shows). 

The MVSA Learn-to-Skate sessions follow the Learn-to-Skate USA curriculum and run year-round at approximately 7-week intervals. Skaters will be introduced to skills such as forward and backward skating, stops, edges, crossovers, and turns with agility, balance, coordination, and speed.
